Vladivostok International Ice Half Marathon

On February 13, the twelfth Ice Half Marathon Vladivostok Ice Run will take place in Vladivostok — one of the most vibrant and large-scale winter sporting events in the Far East.
About 1,000 participants will take to the start line to cover distances on the ice of the frozen sea — Novik Bay, Kanal settlement.
Participants will be able to choose one of the routes: 1 km, 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km, as well as a unique Mix Trail 15 km route combining ice and land.
As part of Vladivostok Ice Run, the LOVE MARATHON paired race will be held — a special start organized jointly with Zhejiang Love Marathon Brand Management Co., Ltd., symbolizing unity, trust and support as a couple.
The total prize fund of the half marathon will amount to 500,000 rubles, with prizes and gifts from partners also provided. All participants will receive a designer starter pack with items from the event’s partners.
A rich entertainment programme, a food court and a relaxation area will be prepared for guests and fans.

A professional athlete who holds a 1st sports category in track and field athletics or running disciplines of other sports, or a higher category, may not be a team member.
The minimum number of participants on one team is 6 people. The maximum number of participants on one team is not limited. The number of teams is not limited.
The team independently determines its team captain (hereinafter the Captain).
Any natural person who has reached the age of 21 at the time the team is created may become the Captain.
The Captain interacts with the Organizer on all matters related to the team’s participation in the Championship.
To participate in the Championship, the Captain sends an application for participation to project@vladivostokmarathon.com. Next: it is necessary to send the list of participants using the standard registration form to your personal manager and pay the invoice-offer. The personal manager creates the team on the website and makes all changes to its roster at the Captain’s request.
The team name is fixed when the team is created on www.russiarunning.com. Changing the team name is not permitted. The amount and payment deadlines for the team fee are specified in the invoice-offer. Payment of the team fee constitutes the fact of the team’s registration in the Championship.
A team may be created no later than February 1, 2027.
A team member must:
- have a personal account on www.russiarunning.com;
- select one of the following event distances for registration: 5, 10, 15 or 21.1 km;
- meet the participant requirements set out in the Event Regulations.
A team member may withdraw from the team or may be removed at the team’s request. Re-inclusion of a participant in this team’s roster is not permitted.
A participant may be registered in only one team.
**Championship Formula**
The team result is determined by the aggregate of the team members’ results.
For the purposes of the Championship, each event participant’s finish time (individual result) is determined based on the net time for completing the distance, i.e., as the difference between the time of exiting the start gate and the time of crossing the finish line (chip time).
For participation in the running event at one of the following distances: 5, 10, 15 or 21.1 km, the participant is awarded RussiaRunning points (hereinafter also referred to as points).
After the event, the participant’s finish time is converted into points according to a specially developed algorithm.
In accordance with this algorithm, participants can compete successfully with each other regardless of gender, age and chosen distance through the application of a handicap principle.
Each participant may preliminarily calculate points using the calculator posted on the Championship page on www.russiarunning.com in the “Championships” section.
Only the participant’s points earned after joining the team are counted toward the team result.
The final results of the Championship are published on www.russiarunning.com no later than February 20, 2027.
Championship Winner
The team that scores the highest total number of points is recognized as the Championship winner.
The result of the “Winning Team” is calculated as follows.
- The sum of points of the 6 best individual results is taken into account.
- If fewer than 6 team members finish, the points of the actual number of team members are summed.
- The points from all distances at which the team members scored the highest number of points are summed.
The team with the largest number of finishers is recognized as the “largest team.”
If, based on the Championship results, several teams score the same number of points, the team with the larger number of participants is recognized as the “winning team.”
If, based on the Championship results, the same number of participants finish in several teams, the team that scores the greater number of points is recognized as the “largest team.”
Awards
Teams are awarded in two categories:
- winning team (1st, 2nd, 3rd place)
- largest team (1st place)
The winners in each category are awarded commemorative marathon cups.
The Championship winners are awarded on stage as part of the event’s general awards ceremony.
Appeal
An appeal is a reasoned written statement by a participant regarding:
- what the participant considers to be an erroneous completion of the event’s final protocol;
- what the participant considers to be unfair behavior by another event participant;
- what the participant considers to be unfair behavior by a participant of another team.
The appeal must be addressed to the Organizer and submitted to the Corporate Run Curator within 30 minutes after the team’s finish.
The appeal must contain the following details of the participant submitting the appeal: full name, date of birth, email address, contact telephone number.
The appeal must state the circumstances on which the participant bases their claims and the evidence confirming these circumstances.
The period for the Organizer to consider the appeal and make a decision is 1 hour from receipt of the appeal.
Disqualification
A team is deprived of the opportunity to participate in the Championship if one of the following grounds exists:
- the fact of transferring a bib (chip) to another participant is detected in respect of 2 or more team members during the Championship period;
- the fact of using several bibs (chips) is detected in respect of 2 or more team members during the Championship period.
If violations of these Regulations or the Marathon Regulations are recorded in respect of only one participant, that participant’s individual result is annulled and is not counted toward the team score.

Preliminary schedule for February 13:
07:30–08:30 — transfer of participants from Central Square to the start;
08:00–11:00 — transfer of participants from the "Mini-TETs Centralnaya" stop to the start;
9:00 — opening of the event;

Also, for residents of Russky Island, buses will run from 8:15 from the "Mini TETs Centralnaya" stop to the start location.
You can also get back by bus from the start town to the "Mini TETs Centralnaya" stop from 12:00 (every 15 minutes) and to Central Square (every 30 minutes).
Participants who arrive by private car must leave their car in the parking lot near FEFU and take a shuttle to the start location.
Team composition: 2 people (1 man and 1 woman). Participants must be a couple in love / a couple in a civil or official marriage*.
Distance for participation: 21.1 km. Participants start, move along the course and finish together. The team receives two starter bibs with the same race number. The result is recorded by an electronic timing chip.
Both participants must cover the entire distance together, pass all checkpoints and have a time difference at the finish of no more than 5 seconds. Participants have the right to help each other during the race (run hand in hand, hold on to each other, carry each other, etc.).
The ORGANIZING COMMITTEE is not responsible for the accuracy of information on whether team participants are actually a couple in love, but hopes for the understanding and honesty of the participants.

*The Organizer, in accordance with Art. 226 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, is recognized as a tax agent. The monetary remuneration funded by the Running Sports Club, provided for by these Regulations, is paid to participants recognized as Winners and Prize-winners, subject to their compliance with the requirements of these Regulations and the conclusion of a separate agreement on the payment of monetary remuneration with ANO "Running Sports Club "DNS".
Payment of the monetary remuneration funded by the Running Sports Club is carried out exclusively on the basis of a separate agreement on the payment of monetary remuneration concluded between ANO "Running Sports Club "DNS" and the Winner/Prize-winner. The agreement determines, among other things: the procedure and terms of payment of the remuneration, the taxation procedure, and the list of documents provided by the Winner/Prize-winner to receive the remuneration.
The Winner/Prize-winner is obliged, within the terms established by the agreement on the payment of monetary remuneration, to provide ANO "Running Sports Club "DNS" with the documents and information necessary for making the payment and fulfilling the duties of a tax agent.
Failure to provide, or provision of incomplete, the specified documents is grounds for refusal to pay the monetary remuneration, and the right to receive the monetary remuneration is considered lost.
The Winner/Prize-winner has the right to refuse the remuneration by sending a scan of the signed notice of refusal of remuneration (in free form) to the email address info@icerun.ru. The full name indicated in the notice of refusal of remuneration must match the full name indicated when submitting the application for participation.
In case of refusal of remuneration, as well as in case of failure to provide or provision of incomplete documents within the designated terms, the monetary remuneration is considered unclaimed. In such case, the organizer has the right to dispose of the remuneration at its own discretion.

The event organizers are not responsible for the actions (inaction), timing, or procedure of payment of the monetary remuneration by the event partner — Zhejiang Love Marathon Brand Management Co., Ltd.
All matters related to the payment of the monetary remuneration, including the procedure, timing, taxation and the list of required documents, shall be settled directly between the Winner/Prize-winner and Zhejiang Love Marathon Brand Management Co., Ltd.
Age group participants are not awarded prizes, but may download a certificate with their achievements in the Event results on the website russiarunning.com.
All participants who complete the declared distance are awarded commemorative medals of the Event at the expense of the Running Sports Club.

It is important to plan for proper and reliable equipment for cold conditions and running on ice.
The average temperatures at the start location and during the start: from -5°C to -15°C.
All Event participants are strongly recommended to have the following items and sports equipment with them:
Footwear
running shoes with metal spikes;
or regular running shoes with spiked overshoes put on them;
or regular running or trail running shoes if there is a snow crust on the course on the day of the Event.

first insulating layer (thermal underwear);
second windproof layer (sports pants).
Upper body
first moisture-wicking layer. T-shirt (made of compression fabric or synthetic material);
second insulating layer. Fleece jacket or a "puffer sweater";
